No doubt that Dirk Nowitzki is the story and probable MVP of the playoffs, if Dallas wins it all. But at least according to ezPM, Jason Kidd had an incredible Conference Finals against OKC, leading Dallas in WARP (1.6) and ezPM100 (~12). More than half of those ratings are due to the defensive side, which as you might have guessed, means that his counterpart — Russell Westbrook — had a terrible series on the offensive end. Overall, Dallas won the series 2.82 to 2.12 in WARP. Dirk had a great series with 1 WARP and ~6.0 ezPM100. On the other side, James Harden and Kevin Durant had virtually identical WARP totals (~0.9), but Harden had the higher ezPM100 rating (5.65 vs. 3.34). It should be noted, however, that Thabo Sefalosha had a 10.7 rating, most of it due to his defensive contribution (7.36).
